Topsham-Renee B. Weisbard, 93, of The Highlands, died September 19th at her home. She was born in Groton, CT, on December 28,1916, and was the daughter of Rene and Louise Lessard Beaudry. She married Alan Weisbard, who died in 2001,on July 25, 1954. The couple lived in Doylestown, PA, from 1954 to 1971, when they moved to Brunswick. Mrs. Weisbard was a homemaker, and she and her husband enjoyed wide-ranging traveland their families. She is survived bytwo nieces, Ellen Kornrumpf of Shelter Island NY and Jessica Morton of Mendocino CA, as well as two great-nieces, Anne Samowitz of Scarborough, and Jill Kornrumpf of Preston CT, and two great-nephews, David Kornrumpf of Hampton Bays NY and Michael Kornrumpf of Dorking, England.She waspredeceased by her sister, Teresa B.Collins. The family would like to thanks the staff of the Governor King Wing at The Highlands for the loving care and assistance provided to Mrs. Weisbard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday. October 4, at 11AM at St. John theBaptist Church, Pleasant St, Brunswick. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Coastal Humane Society, 30 RangeRoad,Brunswick ME 04011.
